This is a step by step walk through on how to backup and update your OpenTX radio to v2.2.3.
Requirements
- OpenTX supported radio.
- OpenTX Companion Software. Download OpenTX Companion 2.2.3 here.
- Computer that can run OpenTX Companion. (windows, mac, linuxdeb, ubuntu)
- USB cable from your radio to the computer.
- Micro-SD card in your radio.
Install Open TX Companion
In order to backup, restore, update, install OpenTX on your radio, you need to install OpenTX Companion. This tutorial is going to be installing OpenTX 2.2.3

Back Up Your Radio
Why backup? If an upgrade fails or if you need to transfer your radio setup to a new physical radio. Its always a good idea to have a backup of your radio.
Update Your Radio
