What is the NIDICI DVR?
The NIDICI DVR allows you to record AV input from any device outputting audio and video via an AV cable. The device stores the video on a micro SD card. It supports up to 32gb micro SD.
The Problem
The main problem is that the NIDICI DVR is that it does not have a standard 4 pin AV in/out. This means that if you use a standard 4 pin AV cable to feed video into the NIDICI DVR, the DVR recording will be unusable. The standard 4 Pin AV input or output is as follows:
The pinout for the NIDICI reverses the ground and video wire. This is shown in their documentation.
The Fix
With the two included AV cables with four wires with stripped ends, solder the green wire to the green wire, the white wire to the white wire, solder the black wire to the red wire.
